DMCA Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Note: This page is a general template describing a standard DMCA notice-and-takedown process. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer for any specific jurisdiction. Independent legal review is recommended, along with registering a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.
IPTV Hot focuses on what's popular right now — new seasons, new releases, and the shows people are talking about. That makes copyright compliance especially important to us, so this page sets out how to report infringement.
Time-sensitive titles
If your notice concerns a new release or an episode that has just aired, add "TIME-SENSITIVE" to your subject line. We review those first, because we know a delay matters most when a title is new.
Writing your notice
To let us act quickly, please make sure your notice covers each of these points — they are the elements the DMCA itself requires:
- Who you are: your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email
- The work: a description of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works are involved
- The material: exactly where the allegedly infringing material appears, so we can find it without guesswork
- Good faith: a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
- Accuracy: a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner
- Signature: a physical or electronic signature (a typed full name is acceptable)

Subject line: "DMCA Notice — [name of work]"
One notice can cover several items, as long as each one is individually identified.
Our response
Once a complete notice arrives, we acknowledge it, check that it meets the statutory requirements, and act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified. If we need clarification, we will reply to the email address you provided.
Account termination
We keep a record of valid notices. Where an account is repeatedly associated with infringement, we may terminate it in appropriate circumstances.
If you believe a removal was a mistake
The DMCA gives you the right to respond. A counter-notice sent to support@iptvhot.org needs:
- Your signature (physical or electronic)
- A description of the removed material and its former location
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that it was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number, plus your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant federal district court and agreement to accept service of process from the complainant
Once forwarded, the complainant has 10 business days to notify us of a lawsuit; otherwise the material may be reinstated in 10 to 14 business days.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice before sending a notice.
